COLOMBO – Senior Mission Chief of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) – Dr. Peter Breuer has expressed optimism about Sri Lanka’s future during a press conference on March 04 following the completion of the third review of Sri Lanka’s Extended Fund Facility.
Dr. Breuer highlighted that the country’s future looks promising, with expectations that Sri Lankans will no longer feel the need to leave the country.
He also noted that many individuals who left during the previous crisis are likely to return in the near future, contributing to the nation’s recovery.
