KUWAIT :The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the State of Kuwait participated at “Discover Asia – 7
th Asian
Bazaar & Exhibition 2026” held on 20 June at Assima Mall, Kuwait City. The event was a
platform for many Asian embassies based in Kuwait to display the vibrant colors of their
traditions and cultural diversity in Asia together.
The occasion was graced by the participation of Ambassadors and Diplomats of the Missions
of Asian region and a considerable number of Kuwaiti nationals experienced the cultural
diversity of Asian countries. Kuwait’s print and mass media channels have given a wide
coverage for the exhibition.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka showcased Sri Lanka’s traditional crafts, batik garments and
handmade creations reflecting the cultural heritage and its uniqueness for the audience.
Further, tourism promotional videos were displayed on digital screen which attracted many
Kuwaitis and participants from other foreign countries. Especially ‘Peacock Dance’ performed
by the Muthu Hansa Dance Troupe in Kuwait was one of fascinating moments of multicultural
dance event.
