COLOMBO — The Russian Classical Ballet concert conducted by the Russian School of Ballet and dancing, will be presented in June 27th at Sri Lanka’s grandest Theatre in Colombo with grandeur, to gain significant attention and provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talents to proud parents. The School which started with 4 little girls wanting to be prima ballerinas celebrates its success and achievements of 25 years in its Silver Jubilee celebrations at this remarkable event.
The Russian School of Ballet also concluded Examination 2025 with over 1400 students from many areas in Sri Lanka overseen by Oxana Karnovich from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, motivating students to achieve higher levels of proficiency.

With its dedication to high standards and comprehensive training, the school not only nurtures the talents of its students, but also instills a deep appreciation for the rich heritage of ballet’
Under the patronage of Madam Maria Popova – Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka and the Director of the Russian House in Colombo Buddhapriya Ramanayake – CEO in Russian Centre In Colombo and Chandi Aluvihare – Cultural Officer Russian Centre In Colombo.
Mrs Galina Pleshakova- Founding Instructor of the school along with most senior instructor Mrs Samantha Samararathne, Senior teachers Niluka Madurawela, Radeesha Bodiyabadu, Mrs Shenaalie Dias, Mrs Inolka Perera, Junior teachers – Mrs Kavishka Premathilake, Ms Nikini Fonseka, Ms Vihini Samarasekara, Ms Indeevara Miltaso, Mrs Ashini Perera, Mrs Oshinika Nethmini will show case their commitment and creativity in choreography with their students.
The same show will be showcased in two sessions due to the higher demand and for ballet enthusiasts who are awaiting the mesmerizing performance.
