COLOMBO — The Old Boys’ Association of the Zahira College Colombo organized WIZDOM Education Fair and Career Guidance 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the College premises on Friday February 7 under the patronage of Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikkar.
Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education Kamal Ariyasinghe was present as the chief guest of the ceremony .
There were 24 stalls Government and Private Sector Educational Institute conducting awareness among the students about higher studies.
The Colombo Times is the TV Online Media Partner of this Education Fair and Ruzaik Farook was present on behalf of Colombo Times.
Ministry of Education Muslim Schools Development Branch Director of Education Major N.T. Nasumutheen. Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikkar, Vice Principals Ms. Zeenath Ismail, A. M. Mihilar, Mohamed Shazuli, Head of Primary Hasna Iflal, Sectional Head Shinaz Badurdeen, Teachers, Students and invitee’s school students were present.
Also Board of Governors Secretary Nuzri Munsoor, OBA President Mohamed Cassim, Secretary Hussain Azad, Project Chairman Ifraz Kamil and Members of the OBA and PTA graced the event.
A large number of School Principals, Teachers, and Students were present on the first day fair. It will continue on Sunday February 8th and consists of two main events: Advanced Level Seminars conducted by academic experts accommodating 500 students and an Art Competition featuring four age group categories offering cash prize of LKR 200,000.
