MELBOURNE : WeCare an organisation formed in 2020 to provide relief to the needy people during COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Melbourne. It was great help to the International students and other needy people during the lockdown .
The multicultural organisation had the privilege of organising its first Ifthar to break fast on the 25th night of Ramadan . The special guest of this event was Jason Wood M.P. Asst. Minister for Customs,Community Safety and Multicultural Affairs . The preparation and serving was completely handled by the non- Muslim members . President Ranji Perera said that they will organise more cultural events in the future and thanked all the participants who took part in the Ifthar.
