COLOMBO : A group of travels agents in Sri Lanka left for Istanbul from Colomboa on familiarization tour organized by the Turkish Airlines on Tuesday, April 19 night.
Country Manager of Turkish Airlines for Sri Lankthe a and Maldives, Murat Baydar said that the tour has two-way effect since it will promote passenger traffic both to and from Turkey.
Following a deep lull in the travel market, Turkish Airlines is the first airlines to organize a Fam. tour as the two countries are recovering from the Covid crisis
This FAM tour will be heading to Turkey to places such as Bursa, Black Sea, Afton , Fethiye ,Antalya and Trabzon .
Regional Manager of Turkish Airlines Sri Lanka, Ms Shermika Kuweju along with representatives from Arcon Travel, Hayleys Travels, The Traveller Global, Jetwing Travel, Classic Travel, Ceyline Travels, Metro Travels, Kandy Travels and 2nd Chance Travels were in the group.
