COLOMBO : Israelis intercepted the boat that Sri Lankan activist Sameera Mahboobdeen is on, part of the Global Sumud Flotilla.
” The boat has now been intercepted by the Israeli military, organisers of the flotilla said.
She is presumed to be in Israeli custody. The 54 boats of the flotilla, with over 400 activists from 45 countries, sailed from Turkiye carrying aid to Gaza. Israeli forces have intercepted more than 30 boats and seized over 250 activists. –
