UCOLOMBO – A silent protest titled “We Must Rise” was held on Monday, 6 2026, at 3:00 p.m. near the Embassy of the United States of America on Galle Road, Kollupitiya, Colombo.
The event, organized by the Voices for Iran Team, brought together participants who gathered in silence to express remembrance, solidarity, and respect in honor of Seyyed Ali Khamenei, according to the organizers.
Former Minister , leader of the Democratic Left Front (DLF), participated in the silent protest alongside supporters and members of the public.
The organizers described the gathering as a peaceful demonstration held near the Embassy of the United States of America to convey their message through silent participation.
