COLOMBO : The ongoing road repair project on Vivekarama Mawatha, Wellampitiya, has been abruptly halted, leaving the roadway in a state of disrepair. The incomplete work has deterred tri-shaw drivers and other vehicles from using this vital route, making it nearly impossible for local residents to hail cabs. During rainy conditions, stagnant water pools add to the inconvenience, affecting access to homes in the area.
Ms. Shahana Kamil, a resident of 34/23A Vivekarama Mawatha, Kiththampahuwa, Wellampitiya, is requesting CMC Commissioner Mr. Palitha Nanayakkara, on behalf of the community, urging for the prompt completion of the necessary repairs.
To illustrate the severity of the situation, she has provided several photographs documenting the state of the roadway. Timely action is needed to restore safe and reliable access for all residents
