Passports to be issued ONLY to those with prior appointments

COLOMBO : The Department of Immigration and Emigration said here on Tuesday, July 26  that passports will be issued from Wednesday, July 27 only to those with prior appointments.

Accordingly, it is mandatory to get a prior appointment from the Department of Immigration and Emigration when visiting to obtain passports.
