NUA leader demands the immediate deportation of an Israeli soldier who can disrupt harmony in the country

COLOMBO : Former western province governor and leader of the National Unity Alliance,Azath Salley has requested President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka to deport an Israeli citizen who had committed several crimes against Palestinian and now staying in Sri Lanka.

Your Excellency,
Subject: Immediate Investigation and Deportation of Gal Farenbook
I am writing to you in my capacity as the Leader of the National Unity Alliance and Former Governor of
the Western Province, Sri Lanka, to bring to your urgent attention a matter of serious concern.
Credible information has been received regarding a statement made by a Belgium-based nongovernmental organization implicating Gal Farenbook, an Israeli soldier, in the death of a Palestinian
civilian and the degrading treatment of the body. It is alleged that this individual is currently in Colombo,
Sri Lanka.
The presence of such a person in our country raises significant concerns for the security and well-being
of Sri Lankan nationals. Allowing individuals accused of such heinous actions to enter or remain within
our borders could have grave implications for the image of Sri Lanka internationally and may undermine
our commitment to justice and human rights.
I therefore respectfully urge Your Excellency to:

1. Initiate an immediate and thorough investigation into the travel and presence of Gal Farenbook
   in Sri Lanka.
2. Take all necessary steps to ensure that this individual is deported from the island without delay,
   in the interest of maintaining the security, harmony, and moral standing of our nation.
   I trust that Your Excellency will treat this matter with the urgency it warrants and take swift action to
   address the concerns raised.
