COLOMBO : Saudi Arabia’s news Ambassador to Sri Lanka Khalid Hamoud Nasser Aldasan Al-Qahtani presented his credentials to President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat (Janadhipathi Mandiraya) on Friday, September 16 .
Foreign minister Ali Sabry and Secretary to the President Saman Ekanayake were also present during the ceremony ,
Al-Qahtani succeeds former ambassador Abdul Nasser Al-Harthy who left the island two months ago on completion of his tour of duty.
On the same day, newly appointed Dutch Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ms. Bonnie Horbach also presented her credentials to President.
