COLOMBO — The Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal in Sri Lanka, Vijay Kumar Raut, joined members of the diplomatic community at a farewell reception held in Colombo on Wednesday, August 5, in honour of Ms. Jayne Howell, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka.
The reception brought together diplomats and distinguished guests to recognise Ms. Howell’s dedicated service and her contributions to strengthening diplomatic relations and cooperation among diplomatic missions in Colombo.
Speaking on the occasion, Raut commended Ms. Howell for her efforts in fostering strong partnerships, promoting regional cooperation, and enhancing people-to-people ties during her tenure.
He also extended his best wishes to Ms. Howell for continued success in her future diplomatic assignments.
