COLOMBO : In a hard-hitting statement, Jihan Hameed, Founder of the National Alliance of Muslim Communities Sri Lanka, strongly condemned Israel’s military aggression against the sovereign state of Iran. She emphasized that such unlawful actions violate international law, threaten global stability, and undermine the fundamental principles of peaceful coexistence among nations.
The National Alliance of Muslim Communities Sri Lanka (NAMC) is an independent, nationally recognized strategic organization representing the Muslim communities of Sri Lanka. The Alliance is committed to safeguarding national sovereignty, promoting peaceful coexistence, defending the rule of law, and upholding international justice.
In parallel, the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance of Muslim Communities Sri Lanka issued an official board statement, reaffirming the Alliance’s firm position on the preservation of state sovereignty, non-aggression, and peaceful conflict resolution through international law. The Board called upon the international community to uphold accountability, prevent further escalation, and safeguard global peace.
