COLOMBO –The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs and Wakfs Board of Sri Lanka have allocated one million rupees for providing relief assistance to the people of Pottuvil from the Muslim Charities Fund (MCF).
This fund allocation was made at the request of the Kollupitiya Masjid Federation.
M.S.M. Nawas, Director of Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs handed over an allocated fund cheque to Rizan Hussain, Chairman of Kollupitiya Masjid Federation on Thursday December 12 at the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs.
In this event Assistant Director M.S. Ala Ahmed, Departmental Waqf Divisional in charge A.S.M. Javid, Wakf Tribunal Secretary (Acting) M.N.M. Roshan, Ampara District Mosques in charge Officer M.I.M. Munir and Colombo District Development Officer M.I.M. Mazeen, and were also present.
