COLOMBO – Montana Governor Greg Gianforte and his wife arrived in Sri Lanka on Friday 9 on an official visit.
The Governor of Montana was welcomed at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake by Western Province Governor Hanif Yusoof.
During his stay in Sri Lanka, Governor Gianforte is scheduled to meet several ministers and government representatives, including Minister of Trade Wasantha Samarasinghe, Deputy Minister of Defence Aruna Jayasekara, and Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Chathuranga Abeysinghe.
The main objective of the visit is to hold discussions on trade and industrial cooperation between Sri Lanka and the United States, particularly the state of Montana.
