On the occasion of the 76th Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, I would like to express my solidarity with the friendly people of Sri Lanka in celebrating the auspicious occasion. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have always been enjoying the best of relations based on good neighborliness, understanding, and civilizational linkages. On this day, I wish Sri Lanka and its people continued progress, peace, and prosperity.
