IRIYADH : on have the honour to extend my warmest greetings and felicitations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Azeez Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Muhammed bin Salman bin Abdul Azeez Al-Saud, the Government and the friendly People of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the happy occasion of the 94th National Day of Saudi Arabia.
The celebrations of the 94th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fall within an important year in the history of bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia as the two countries are commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations in the year 2024. It is, indeed, a milestone in the journey of five decades of all-weather friendship underpinned by mutual understanding, respect and cooperation.
I believe that the growing momentum of the bilateral relations between the two countries to encompass all the areas of mutual interest and Sri Lanka’s unstinted support and commitment to partner with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda would serve as a catalyst to further elevate growing bilateral relations between the two countries into new heights in the years ahead.
I take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for the good health and personal well-being of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Azeez Al-Saud and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Muhammed bin Salman bin Abdul Azeez Al-Saud, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly People of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Omar Lebbe Ameer Ajwad
Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
