
COLOMBO : Kuwait Airways, the National Carrier of the State of Kuwait, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sri Lanka, , His Excellency Saleh M.A.S. Alsarawi the Embassy of Kuwait in Colombo.
The visit was led by Sudesh Rupasinghe, Manager Passenger & Cargo – Kuwait Airways Sri Lanka, together with Rahim Kichilan, Head of Delmege Air Services, the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Kuwait Airways in Sri Lanka. The meeting was also attended by Abdullah A.M.A. Almuhana , Counsellor of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Sri Lanka.
During the meeting, the Kuwait Airways delegation extended warm greetings and best wishes to His Excellency on his new appointment and reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between Kuwait and Sri Lanka through enhanced air connectivity and service excellence.
Kuwait Airways also expressed its sincere appreciation for the continuous cooperation and support extended by the Embassy of Kuwait over many years, which has contributed significantly to the successful operations and growth of Kuwait Airways in Sri Lanka.
Speaking during the meeting, Ambassador Saleh Mubarak Al-Sarawi stated:

Kuwait Airways, as the national carrier of the State of Kuwait, plays a vital role in strengthening the longstanding friendship and connectivity between Kuwait and Sri Lanka. The Embassy will continue to extend its fullest cooperation and support to Kuwait Airways in its efforts to further enhance travel, trade, and people-to-people relations between our two nations.”
