RUZAIK FAROOK
COLOMBO – The 47th Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution and National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held at the ITC Ratnadipa, Colombo on Wednesday February 11.
It was held under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Maldives Dr. Alireza Delkosh.
The chief guest of the ceremony, Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Alireza Delkosh cut the anniversary cake.
Governor of the Western Province Hanif Yusoof, Ministers, Members of Parliament, Former MPs, Mayor of the Colombo Vraie Cally Balthazaar and Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha were graced the ceremony.
Iran Cultural Centre Cultural Counsellor Ali Kebriaei Zadeh, Diplomats, Officers of the Defence Forces, Representatives of Muslim Organization, Media Personnel’s and Embassy officials were also present.
