BERUWELA — The Old Boys’ Association of Al Humaizara National School, China Fort, Beruwala, recently organized the “Humaizara Walk” and Sports Festival to commemorate the school’s centenary celebrations.
The commemorative walk commenced from the school premises under the patronage of Principal Mohamed Farzan. Alumni who studied at the school between 1988 and 2022 enthusiastically participated in the event, celebrating the institution’s proud 100-year legacy.
The celebrations continued in the evening with the opening ceremony of the Old Boys’ Cricket Tournament at the Naleem Hajiar Sports Ground. The event was graced by Sri Lankan cricket legend Sanath Jayasuriya as the chief guest, alongside several distinguished invitees.
Al Humaizara National School has remained committed to providing quality education in a safe, nurturing, and disciplined environment. The school continues to emphasize academic excellence, character development, and the preparation of students to become responsible and capable future leaders.
Vice Principals, teachers, students, Old Boys, parents, and well-wishers also took part in the centenary walk, making the occasion a memorable celebration of the school’s rich heritage and enduring spirit.
