COLOMBO : The Department of Muslim Religious Affairs, DMRCA, has announced to that all the hajj aspirants should register with the payment of Rs.5,000 with the hajj account of DMRCA,
Before February 26th, 2025 to join with approved hajj operators for 2025.
Hence, all permitted Hajj aspirants are requested to join any authorized Hajj operator of their choice within the specified deadline without delay.
A statement from the MRCA stated:” we regret to inform that the Haj permit may be cancelled for those who failed to comply the said deadline. Further the waitlisted registered hajj aspirants may be replaced in accordance of such cancellations.Due to the enormous complaints we are receiving about the manipulated market by the middlemen, We urge the people to refrain the unauthorized people to handle the Hajj affairs.”
