COLOMBO : Ambassador’s of United Arab Emirates and Egypt met Minister of Environment Naseer Ahamed on Friday, March 10 at the ministry of Environment.
The discussion was on 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28) to be held in UAE in December.
Egyptian ambassador Maged Mosleh thanked the Environment Minister for the contribution given by Sri Lanka for the COP 27 held at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in 2022.
Emirates is going to hold the 28th edition of the event in a grand scale and will be the biggest global event on Environment and Climate Change. Minister Ahamed said
Sri Lanka will have several community awareness programmes and will give the fullest Support to make thprograms success, Lankan minister said.
