COLOMBO: It was a happy day for the residents of Gunasinghapura on Monday, July 11 when they got adequate supply of Litro gas for their home use.
The Litro gas distribution took place in several parts of the capital of Colombo. In Gunasinghapura, the distribution started at 10 am and ended at 10pm same day, on Monday.
The people were without gas for more than three months. It was a sorry sight to note that although the people were asked to bring one cylinder, some brought more than four cylinders at a time and sent a lot of people home without their requirements. The distribution will continue during this week.
