MOUNT LAVINIA — The Egypt Embassy in collaboration with the President Secretariat, Sustainability and Climate Action Partnership (SCAP), Marine Environment Protection Authority (MEPA), Clean Ocean Force Lanka, Policed Environment Division and other organizations jointly organized a Beach Cleaning programme was held at the Mount Lavinia Beach on Sunday June 23.
Advisor to President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Climate Change and Deputy Leader of the United National Party Ruwan Wijewardene, Ambassador of Egypt to Sri Lanka Maged Mosleh, Clean Ocean Force Lanka Chairman Jerome Fernando, SCAP Directors Duminda Attygalle and Adhikaramge Ishara, MEPA District Head Dinithi Gunesena and Embassy Officials were also present.
