PUTALAM : The first phase of a nationwide drinking water supply project through the National Water Supply Board under the auspices of the All Ceylon YMMA Council in Puttalam District was launched recently.
YMMA Selection Committee visited the homes of over fifty applicants nominated by Kalpitiya Divisional Secretariat Secretary.
Under the guidance of the National President of the All Ceylon YMMAC Mr.Saheed M. Rismy, the National isdues Chairperson of the Conference
K N Dean, visited Puttalam to identify and select the appropriate beneficiaries.
This project is one of the special programs of the All Ceylon YMMA for the month of Ramadan. Mujahid Nisar, Director, YMMA, Puttalam District presented funding to the beneficiaries at the hall.
The event was attended by School Principal S.R.M.M Muhsi, YMMA Kalpitiya President Irfan Rizwan, Development Officer Jinnah Azmiya and trustees of the mosque administrative board.
