
COLOMBO : The Board of Airline Representatives (BAR) convened met at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Colombo, with the participation of senior representatives from all 12 major airlines operating in Sri Lanka.
The meeting was chaired by Dimuthu Tennakoon, Chairman – BAR and Head of Commercial, SriLankan Airlines, together with Sudesh Rupasinghe, Vice Chairman – BAR (kuwait airways).
Key discussions focused on the current challenges faced by the aviation industry, future development priorities, and the collective role airlines can play in supporting Sri Lanka’s tourism expansion and overall economic recovery.
