COLOMBO : The formal inauguration of Zam Zam Foundation’s Youth Leadership programme, EYLF, was held on Saturday the 26th of June 2021 via Zoom with the presence of distinguished guests.
Minister of Justice Ali Sabry, PC together with Member of Parliament Imthiaz Bakeer Markar took part as Special Guests on the occasion.
Chairman of Zam Zam Foundation Mufthi. Yoosuff Haniffa, M H Mohamed Hisham (CEO) Mohideen Mulaffer (Director), Ajward Cader (Director) and a number of other observers also took part in the event.
The speakers emphasized the need for unity and encouraged the participants to be role model for other young people as well.
The EYLF programme has selected 35 young male & female leaders between 16-30 years coming from various backgrounds to be part of the Inaugural cohort of Exemplary Youth Leaders Fellowship (EYLF) where they will go through a personal development and experiential learning process over the next 10 months.
The Finalists were selected from over 300 applications based on their merit and potential to contribute to Sri Lanka. They are expected to be exemplary young leaders who take the lead in issues concerning the community, build bridges with other communities and become voices for national causes which are important to all of us as Sri Lankans.
