COLOMBO — Zahira College Group of 80 organized a workshop titled “Elevating the Quality and Effectiveness of Meetings” at the Marino Beach Hotel, Colombo recently.
The program aimed to educate and empower association leaders with the knowledge and skills required to conduct meetings in a more structured and productive manner.
The workshop was conceptualized and presented by veteran trainer Munshif Hussain, who has over 45 years of experience training leading corporate organizations both locally and internationally. His captivating and highly engaging presentation kept the audience spellbound throughout the three-hour session.
Participants included presidents, secretaries, and treasurers of Old Boys’ and Old Girls’ associations and groups, as well as principals, teachers, prefects and leaders of various societies and Clubs of Zahira College and several invited schools, namely Ilma International Girls’ School, Muslim Ladies’ College, Amal International School, Khairiya Girls’ College, Darussalam College, and Carey College. The interactive learning experience equipped attendees with valuable tools to enhance the quality of their meetings while strengthening their leadership capabilities.
Commenting on the initiative, the President of the Zahira College Group of ’80, Hadjireen Rasiff, stated, “We are happy to organize a workshop of this nature. The knowledge and practical insights gained will undoubtedly elevate the quality and effectiveness of meetings. Through this initiative, the program will greatly contribute to society and the country at large, which we aim to serve as a responsible association.”
