COLOMBO : Deputy speaker of the parliament Dr Rizvie Salih inaugurated the
“Year End Trade Fair 2024” organized by Association of Muslim Association of Muslim Professionals and Entrepreneurs, AMWPE, held on Sunday,Dec.1.
Salih was the chief guest,while chairman of the Zeenath Trading Private Limited Maheer Hassan was the guest-of-honour at the event.
The event which held to raise funds to provide financial assistance to needy and deserving students who are eager to pursue their higher studies.
“ We embarked on this project as were made to understand that some students discontinued their studies due to financial constraints,” secretary of the association said.
AMWPE is a social service-oriented organization, more focused on Education besides other needs of the underprivileged sector of the community. It has reached out to the society in various ways to uplift their quality of life and improve their standards of living.
