COLOMBO- The untimely death of Yusuf Khan,54, was announced on Monday, August 23 in Colombo.
According to information received by Colombo Times, he passed away at 1.30 am on Monday morning at the Ceylon Hospitals.
Khan was attached to the Amana Takaful at the time of his death. Earlier, he had worked at Union Assurance too. He was heading the Branch Distribution
at Amanah Takaful.
His wife Shanaz Khan is the headmistress of Junior Section Wycherleys International School at Bullers Road. He is survived by his three sons Imran,Azman and Amjad.
Yusuf’s brother Manzil Khan died last week and his funeral took place in Colombo. He was the youngest and fondest son of Late S.M.Furkhan and Marhooma Zanooba.
The other brothers of Late Yusuf include, Rafeek director Amanah Takaful, Asaf formerly of Union Assurance currently attached to Ceylon Baithulmahal Fund, Imtiaz-Raad Hotel Kandy,Fairoze and Fouzun Abdul Cader-UK and Mehrunnissa Faisal,US and Nazar-US. Funeral arrangements will be notified in due course.
