Zoological Gardens in Sri Lanka have decided to permit children below 12 years old to enter their premises free of charge on October 01, to mark the World Children’s Day.
Accordingly, this will be enforced at the Dehiwala Zoological Garden, the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Ridiyagama Safari Park.
Also, the naming ceremony of the three newborn lion cubs at Ridiyagama will also be held on that day.
The Dehiwala Zoological Garden is also to hold a host of special programmes on Oct. 01.
