COLOMBO : Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in the North-Western province.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva province and in Batticaloa and Ampara districts in the evening or night.
Fairly strong gusty winds up to (40-50) kmph can be expected in Northern and North-Central provinces and in Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
