COLOMBO ; The fortnight programme of Muslim Service of SLBC Paaramparyam (Heritage) compiled by Kalabhooshanam M. S. M. Jinnah is going to talk about one- time famous singer the late Mazahira Elyas. She was adorned as Southul Anthaleef (Cuckoo of Music) by late State Minister Alhaj A. H. M. Azwer.
She started her carrier in 1959 in SLBC, Muslim Service. She has sung songs alone and with so many renowned singers.
Her son, Musician and guitarist, Mubarak Elyas remembers the activities of his mother in this programme which will be over air on Tuesday 17.10.2023 at 8.15 p.m. Mubarak Elyas will speaks about his experiences with the Muslim Service. It is produced by Mrs. M. J. Fathima Rinoosiya, Director, Muslim Service.
