NEGOMBO- It’s going to be Vesak in all parts of Sri Lanka on Sunday, Monday,May 15.16.
Every home and business house are making lanterns and other decorations to celebrate the Lord Buddha’s birth anniversary on this day which is on Sunday.
In Sri Lanka, Vesak is a national festival which is celebrate by all Sri Lankans irrespective of race and relgion. Buddhists go to the temple to get the blessings of Lord Buddha on the Poya Day which falls on Monday.
