COLOMBO : Trevor Rajaratnam, an esteemed Past President of IAASL.Iata Agents Association of Sri Lanka,passed away on Wednesday, Feb 14, IAASL incumbent president Sabry Bahaudeen announced here on Thursday Feb.14.
“ Rajaratnam, a true luminary in the Outbound Travel Industry, leaves behind a legacy built upon over 50 years of unparalleled experience and expertise. His pioneering contributions have significantly shaped the trajectory of the industry, and his absence will be acutely felt in a landscape where such seasoned professionals are becoming increasingly scarce,” Bahaudeen said in his statement .
“His departure marks a profound loss for the industry, as his unique insights, strategic vision, and dedication were not only invaluable but also nearly irreplaceable in an era where Human Resources are facing notable challenges.
During this difficult time, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues. May the memory of Mr. Trevor Rajaratnam continue to inspire and guide us, and may his soul find eternal peace,”he concluded.
His funeral will take place at 10 am at the Kanatte cemetery on Friday, Feb 16.
