COLOMBO- Traders mostly rice suppliers in the Old Moor Street in Colombo 12, took to streets to protest at the closure of their shops for more than six weeks.
The protesters who were wholesale rice dealers said that they are financially crippled because of the continuous lockdown due to Covid pandemic.
The demonstrators included workers, shop owners, drivers and suppliers.
