COLOMBO — The Sri Lanka Japan Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce held its 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday August 5 at the Hilton Residence Colombo.
Robert Francis Edirisinghe was elected as President of the Sri Lanka Japan Business Council for the 2025/2026 term.
Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka Akio Isomata was present as chief guest.
The Following were elected as office bearers for the year 2025/2026.
President Robert Francis Edirisinghe (Athulla), Senior Vice President Lokukankanange Ruwan Viraj Waidyaratne, Vice President Shamil Mendis, Treasurer H J Rohitha Mendis.
Committee Members – Charaka Kariyapperuma, Muthukumaraswamy Raghuraman, Mohamed Khalid Mohamed Amr, Nilanthi Monica Rodrigo Marikkar, Nishan Jayawardena, Pallewatta Gamaralalage Rohan, Shyam Anel De Silva, Shaameel Mohideen, Thilak Sagara Jayasinghe Gunawardana , Andre Fernando and Mahen Kariyawasan will serve on the committee as Immediate Past President.
