COLOMBO – The Pearl Hobby Craft (PHC) had organized its 9th consecutive year certificates and awards ceremony at the Ramada Hotel, Colombo on Sunday February 9. It was held under the patronage of Directress and Chief Instructor of the Pearl HobbyCraft Mrs. Riza Fawazdeen.
Chief Guest of the ceremony Fathimath Faiga, Wife of the High Commissioner of Maldives in Sri Lanka. and Guest of Honour Economic and Social Secretary of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ms. Madhushanika Liyanage.
Pearl Hobby Craft is a Training Institute Registered under the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and affiliated by Vocational Training Authority. Since its inception in 2008, they have been conducting Vocational Training Courses such as General Cookery, Cake Making, Tailoring and Hand Crafts exclusive for Ladies.
Up to now more than a thousand students have passed out and this year more than twenty five students received their certificates and awards from guests.
Directress of Pearl Academy and Administrator of Pearl Hobby Craft F. Waseefa Fawazdeen, parents and students were also present.
