COLOMBO – The Memon Humanitarian Society organized a Free Eye Check – up Camp at the Fathima Muslim Ladies College, Bandaranaike Mawatha, Colombo 12 on Thursday March 3. A Free Eye Checkup and 300 Reading Glasses were distributed among the staff of the Fathima Muslim Ladies College and Kanapathy Hindu Ladies College.
Also Principal of the Fathima Muslim Ladies College and Deputy Director of Education Zonal Education Office Colombo Mrs. M. H. Mumthaz Begum thanks the organizers for organizing the valuable event. Memon Humanitarian Society President A.L. Anver and Shiraz Yoonus addressed the gathering.
In addition, Dr. Afzal Aboothahir tested blood sugar, blood pressure, oral health and subsequently provided medical advice as to how to lead a healthier life. An eye clinic was also held and spectacles were distributed free of charge. Bixton Lighting sponsored the event.
Ayoob Cader, Dr. M.A.C. Kamaldeen, Dr. Jaldeen, were also present.
