COLOMBO — The Interact Club of D. S. Senanayake College held their annual Interact Cultural Festival at the Cinnamon Life City of Dreams on Sunday May 25.
A distinguished old boy of the College Feroze Kamardeen was present as the chief guest.
College Staff Advisor – Mrs. Princy Perera , Club President – Shenal Theshan, Club Secretaries Mahith Wijesekera, Tewin Wijemane , Project Chairpersons – Kiran Perera, Kevindu Perera, District Interact Representative Damien Decruz and Rotarian Champa Perera were also present.
Thr Interact Clubs of St. Joseph’s College, Cambridge College, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya , Sirimavo Balika Vidyalaya, Bishop’s College and Colombo North Interact Club participated in the Quiz , Entertainment events and the Fashion Shows. In the finals, Interact Club of Cambridge College emerged as the winner of the competitions.
Rozanne Diasz, Megha Sooriyarachi and Ravi Royster comprised the panel of judges of the above competitions.
President of the Cambridge College Ravichandran Abilaaash received the Interact Cultural Challenge Shield from D.S. Senanayake Staff Advisor Ms. Princy Perera.
Former President of the Old Boys Association Mayura Amarasinghe presented a token of appreciation to the chief guest Feroze Kamardeen at this ceremony.
