COLOMBO. :The Free Palestine Movement Sri Lanka hosted an Interfaith iftar on Sbvunday, March 15, at the Vihara Maha Devi park. Invitations were handed out to CMC workers, garbage collectors, police officers, security guards, parking attendants and many more.
The programme was spotted with henna (mehendi) and Arabic calligraphy stations for the crowd to indulge. The main sponsor of the ofood, was Paan Paan which contributed a lot to the iftar service.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to Colombo Mayor Vraie Cally Balthazar who provided the venue within the park.
