COLOMBO. :The Free Palestine Movement Sri Lanka hosted an Interfaith iftar on Sunday, March 15, at the Vihara Maha Devi park. Invitations were arrange to CMC workers, garbage collectors, police officers, security guards, parking attendants and many more.
Henna (mehendi) and Arabic calligraphy stations were arranged for the crowd to indulge. The main sponsor of the food, was Paan Paan which contributed a lot to the success of the event.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to Colombo Mayor Vraie Cally Balthazar who provided the venue within the park.
