COLOMBO — The Zahira Veterans has organize ‘Battle of the Masters 2025’ football tournament on 9th February at Zahira College Grounds from 8. 00 a.m. onwards.
A press conference was held at the College Ghaffoor Hall on Friday January 31 in connection with this tournament.
Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikkar and President of the Zahira Veterans Hussain Azad addressed the media.
With a legacy spanning over 132 years, Zahira College Colombo has been a trailblazer in school football, consistently excelling in the sport and producing numerous national players.
Eight Leading schools from the country will be a part of this prestigious tournament. 8 school teams are Zahira College Colombo, Royal College Colombo, St. Peter’s College, Hameed Al Husseini College, St. Benedict’s College, St. Henry’s College, Jaffna, De Mazenod College, Kandana and Zahira College, Gampola.
The Fashion Store (TFS) as the Title Sponsor and Director of Operations Mohamed Muadh presented sponsorship to Principal Trizviiy Marikkar.
Zahira Veterans has invited all football enthusiasts to witness this exciting and competitive tournament.
Zahira College Board of Governors Secretary Nuzri Munsoor, Old Boy’s Association President Mohammad Cassim, Veterans Secretary and Project Chairman Shiraj Sallay and sponsors were also present.
