COLOMBO — The Iran Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo had organized a Seminar on “ Islamic Revolution in the View of Sri Lankan thinkers “ to mark the 45th Anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution was held recently at the Iran Cultural Center Auditorium, Colombo.
Ven. Kalupahana Piyarathana Thero, Former Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka Dr. Alireza Delkhosh, Dr. Sudath Devapura, President of the World Fellowship Buddhists Sri Lanka Centre and Mohammad Thamby Habeebullah, Senior Lecturer of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka were addressed the gathering.
Prof. Pallekanda Rathnasara Maha Thero, Chief Incumbent of Sri Saripuththaramaya Borella, Iran Cultural Center Cultural Counsellor Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi, Embassy Officials and media personnel were also present.
