NEGOMBO :The government has put forward a amicable solution to the problem teachers’ salaries and the they must accept it for the sake of the country’s children, Nimal Lansa – State Minister for Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure said here in a media statement,
Lansa said that the government has accepted a good proposal regarding teachers’ salaries and urges teachers to accept it and resume children’s education.
Speaking further he said : “ The Corona epidemic deprived children’s education not only in Sri Lanka but in the world as well. In addition to the corona epidemic, children in Sri Lanka also lost their education for a long time due to Starlings.
We should think more about the children of this country and instead try to turn the education of the children back forty years. Stalin is told to think about school children. What happens if their child misses two years of education?
We need to think more about children. Dear Mothers and Fathers, I respectfully request that the children be educated.
Developed countries in particular have created a “sterling project” to see if they can fly around the world. It is doubtful whether the Stalinists here are trying to disrupt the education of children in the country and drag their education backwards.
As a government it pays money which are given by the people. People pay taxes to the government and that is spend agains for them. At the time of the corona everyone was in trouble. Therefore, the government has given a good proposal regarding teachers’ salaries. State Minister, Nimal Lansa further stated that he requested that the proposal be accepted and that the education of the children be carried out”
