



TRINCOMALEE : Muslim Aid Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Consortium for Inclusive Education Development, successfully organized a thought-provoking symposium at Lucky Beach Resort, Uppuveli.recently.,
The event highlighted the importance of inclusive education, bringing together key stakeholders including Mr. K. Gunanathan, Secretary to the Eastern Provincial Ministry of Education, along with education officials, social service representatives, and civil society actors.
This initiative is part of the Community-Based Education Development Model, actively implemented over the past four years with a strong focus on integrating children with different abilities into the mainstream education system.
The symposium concluded with a shared commitment to collaborative action between government bodies, civil societies, and humanitarian organizations to strengthen inclusive policies and ensure quality education for all children — aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
