COLOMBO : The Supreme Court has rejected the petitions filed challenging the gazette notification on the cremation of bodies of COVID-19 victims on Tuesday afternoon.
Some seven petitions were taken up by a three-member bench on Monday and returned a verdict on Tuesday that it cannot proceed with the case according to a decision made by a majority among the three judges.
