COLOMBO -The recent provocation under the pretext of freedom of expression in Sweden is unbecoming and an indignant stance of the Swedish government.
The burning of the Holy Quran is an act of hatred spewed with a venomous attitude by a few sick and irresponsible persons in Sweden said the Supreme Council of Thareeqas in a press release issued on Monday,July 3
” We condemn such xenophobic behavior in todays civilized world. It certainly doesn’t speak well for the Swedes. As much as people of Sweden who are people who believe in coexistence, this kind of
Islamaphobic outrage must be stopped.
The people of Sweden must raise their voices to vehemently oppose such convoluted freedom. Such incidents can cause disturbing events across nations.
The Quran is a revered book for the Muslims and it teaches values that
reminds us of Inclusivity, Tolerance & Love to one another .
The Supreme Council of Sufi Thareeqas condemn such disturbing behavior seen from these toxic and racist people in Sweden who use the “expression of freedom “ to spread hateful attacks on the Islamic Faith.”
