COLOMBO : Former minister Faiszer Musthapha has urged Muslims in the country to stay safe and avoid crowd and congestion to keep the Covid virus away.
In a message issued to the occasion, Musthapha has said : “ As we prepare to celebrate our Ramadan festival next week, we see Muslims going all over to do their purchases. Please remember being in a large crowd puts you and everyone else at risk. I appeal to the community to avoid crowded places. While celebrating this festival, please give a thought to others as well. Practice all COVID-19 safety measures. Don’t forget we are fighting a pandemic. Avoid crowds. Stay safe.”
