EDDAH: The first flight of the SriLankan Airlines which resumed on Tuesday ,August 15, arrived in Jeddah from Colombo.
Consul General Falah Alhabshi who received the crew of the flight at the King Abdulaziz International Airport – Jeddah told Colombo Times that it was a long felt need of Sri Lankan expatriates living in Jeddah after the COVID 19 pandemic in March 2020.
The airline will operate three direct flights to Jeddah from Colombo. The regular Umrah pilgrims from Colombo can also make use of these flights by Lankan passengers.
